For a small 30-second clip I like the more approachable, simple workflow of Kdenlive but holiday videos with a hundred or more cuts work much better with Davinci for me. DaVinci Resolve 18 > As a hobby videographer using Ubuntu I find myself switching between Kdenlive and Davinci Resolve, depending on the size and complexity of the project.Not sure how far along their feature set is.
